‘365 Data Science’ is an online course that is
making data science accessible to anyone and everyone around the world. The

The 365 Data Science program has four modules
and each module has different number of courses that allow the students to learn
about data science.
The first module is ‘Data Science Fundamentals’.
The first module is the start of the journey. It lays a strong foundation for
an individual’s data science career. In this module, the student will learn the
core principles of mathematics, statistics and probability which are essential
for constructing machine and deep learning modules further in the program. This
module allows the student to start working with data and teaches them to
visually present the results of their analyses.
The second module is ‘Programming for Data
Science’. The second module is a lot more challenging than the first and
focuses on developing a versatile programming skill set within its students.
The students will start by working on relational databases, using core SQL
quarries and coding in Python. Additionally, the students will also learn the
best practices to manipulate and visualize data.
The third module is ‘Machine and Deep Learning’.
In this module, the program looks to expand upon the knowledge obtained from
module 1 and module 2. In module 3, the students will start applying
statistical methods to analytics. More importantly, students will learn
‘sklearn’. This will allow students to build linear and regression models from
scratch.
The fourth and final module is ‘Advanced
Specialization’. Once a student has completed modules 1, 2 and 3, they will
have the liberty to choose the specialization of their data science skill set
to meet the changing needs of different industries. The courses offered in this
module are highly specialized courses and therefore require the students to
have a deep understanding of how Python programming and statistical modeling
works and is implemented.
A certification of completing each course is
given to the students which enhances their resume. Once all the courses and
modules are completed, 365 Data Science program is complete and the individual
becomes a certified professional data scientist.
The whole course has a total of 115 hours of
videos, 1600 lessons, and 25 courses and over 750 exercises that allow
individuals to become data scientists. The whole course costs $174 per year.
There is also a free version available that has 15 hours of videos and over 50
exercises as study material. However, this free version does not provide a
certificate.
The graduates of this course work at several
prestigious organization such as Walmart, Tesla, Citibank and PayPal just to
name a few.
Overall it is a great program that improves an
individual’s skill set and makes their resume stronger.
